Return Policy

We hope you are pleased with your purchase. If you wish to return anything bought from Guitar Hunter, all items must be dropped off for shipment with 48 hours of delivery to buyer. All tracking info must be sent to info@jeremysheppard.com. Additionally, the items have to be returned in the same condition as they left us (no visible damage or play wear, fully playable, fully resaleable, fresh strings and smoke-free guitar and case, undamaged by animals, water, fire and dirt, general misuse or abuse)


Returns must be in original packaging. We recommend that you purchase insurance for the return trip. However, if you choose to not purchase insurance, you assume full responsibility for the full cost of the instrument, case etc., plus shipping costs. Filing a claim with the FedEx/UPS/USPS is your responsibility, however we will do our best to support you in this process. Finally, we reserve the right to add a $25 restocking fee for cleaning, purchasing new packing materials if damaged, replacing strings etc. to any returns

STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

We want to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase.  We do our best to select and represent manufacturers and brands who's products perform with the kind of quality we expect for ourselves, and work hard to help you find the right products for your needs.  In the interest of full transparency, we have compiled this list of "standard terms and conditions of sale" for products and services available at Guitar Hunter.

Shipping Damage

If your item is shipped to you and the parcel arrives with signs of excessive shipping damage, we strongly encourage you refuse the delivery of the package.  At the minimum the delivery person should be asked to notate possible damage for the shipping record.  For parcels that are delivered without signature requirement and are found to be damaged, or if the contents of a parcel is found to have sustained concealed damage upon opening the parcel, we must be notified of the damage within 24 hours of the receipt of the parcel.  After 24 hours of the delivery date and time provided by the shipping carrier, and in the absence of a notation of possible damage, we will assume a clean delivery.

If you need to return an item via shipping, you must contact us via email or phone and receive a return authorization.  Items which are returned via shipping must have the original packing materials, or be packed using functionally identical substitutes, and be packed in sufficiently the same fashion as to provide the same level of protection as the original shipment.  If the original packaging is not available, and a suitable substitute cannot be found, we can provide shipping materials for a fee.  We will be happy to provide a return shipping label with our carrier of choice, at actual cost, which will be deducted from the final refund amount.  If you choose to return your item(s) using your own carrier, you accept full responsibility for insuring the shipment for the full purchase amount and Guitar Hunter shall not be responsible for any items if damaged in transit.  Any parcels shipped using a method other than a label supplied by Guitar Hunter that arrive showing signs of excessive handling damage will be refused and returned to the sender, and Guitar Hunter will have no responsibility for those items.


Scheduled Video Calls:

Customers are expected to attend all video calls scheduled with Jeremy. When you schedule a call, you will be sent a confirmation email with the time and date. Please put it on your calendar! 


Cancellation: If a customer needs to reschedule or cancel their video call, they must notify Jeremy the Guitar Hunter at least 24 hours in advance. This can be done by replying to the confirmation email or using the online booking system's cancellation feature. This will allow you to reschedule from a list of available times.

No Call, No Show:  If a customer fails to attend a scheduled video call without prior notification (no call, no show), the following will apply:

Jeremy will send a follow-up email offering 2-3 times for which a customer may reschedule at no additional fee. If these times do not work for you, a refund will not be offered. 


Repeated Offenses:  Jeremy the Guitar Hunter reserves the right to handle repeated no call, no shows on a case-by-case basis. This may include requiring pre-payment for future appointments or declining to schedule further consultations.
